Okay, so this is actually a little Laugh-a-Lot Bear, but I had a Tenderheart Care Bear when I was very little which I accidentally left on the bus and cried for days. So, my best friend Karen, having heard this story several years ago, bought me one for my birthday

An old favorite of mine from the mid 1980′s in Baltimore, back when I carried around a heavy 35mm SLR and developed photos myself when I could get access to a darkroom. This is one of my best friends from high school striking a dramatic pose. I wish I knew where she was now.. sigh. The photo wasn’t composed in advance; we were messing around on the sidewalk outside our rowhouse.
